Ball Rules | What
is Tetherball
The Tetherball is much like a volleyball
attached to a rope. We suggest only using a tetherball with a
metal bar recessed below the surface. A tetherball like this will last
much longer.
We suggest using
at least a 2” galvanized steel pole which will stand up much longer
than the smaller 1.5” aluminum pole sets most commonly sold. A ground
sleeve is also nice for when a tetherball pole is place in an area that
needs to be mowed and the pole needs to be removed. You simply cement
in the ground sleeve making sure it is plumb and slightly above the ground
surface to prevent dirt from falling in.
All of the sets sold below are 2”
in diameter and come with a ground sleeve.
